The Indian banking sector in the recent years is taking steps to create gender inclusivity but these few women on the top do not bring the true picture of gender inclusivity. The study intended to identify the significant factors of promotional paradox. The study aimed to analyze that how double bind and promotional paradox contribute to social identity conflict and which further influences the work performance of women professionals in private sector banks in Haryana. newline
