It has been investigated that Active newlineMusic Intervention brings autonomous balance in the Diabetes Mellitus Type2 (DM2) newlinepatients. Singing requires a well-trained and cultured voice to bring out the emotions of newlinethe listeners. With its multi fold advantages, yoga has been playing a vital role in the newlinelives of people. Its role in the development of voice is well documented in the yoga texts newlinewhich is explored to formulate yoga modules for maintaining vocal health.This thesis addresses the effect of Indian devotional music on the students newlineextending to investigate the similar on DM2 patients. It also proposes the dimensions of newlineyoga modules for voice culture.The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of music on students and DM2 newlinepatients and to conceptualize the yoga (practices) in culturing the voice of the singers for newlinethe desired effect on the listeners.1.
