Abstract: Computer science and digital technology have revolutionized the world. Digital communication and newlineinteraction have reached to nearly two- thirds of the world population. It has contributed to a change in newlinesociety, significant impact on business, critical infrastructure, and fundamental aspects of modern newlinesociety. The Internet has become an integral part of the life and business. Mobile technology, Internet, newlinecloud computing and advances in networking through fourth and fifth generation technology has newlinebrought everything on the palmtop. Everyone from rich to poor and urban to rural areas is using mobile, newlineand all work from office to shopping is being carried out using mobiles online. The Internet is one of newlinethe fastest growing sectors. Today Information and Communication Technology (ICTs) is omnipresent, newlineand demand for Internet- enabled technology haven driven computer technology- enabled products. Now newlinecars, buildings, electricity distribution, transportation, military services, logistics of society are all newlinedependent on Information and Communication Technology. newlineI nternet technology has given rise to global nature of the crime but still reporting, investigation and trial newlineof the crimes are carried out locally. Traditional jurisdictional limits of national boundaries and newlinelimitations of the Law enforcement mechanism are applicable. Enforcement agencies worldwide are newlinefacing a big challenge to contain this crime and investigate it. Very nature of cybercrimes is global as newlinethe Internet provides global access to everyone those who are connected to it. The Internet has opened newlinea window for trans- national activities in crimes. Thus, the Crime has been globalized due to this Internet newlinetechnology, but still reporting, and investigation of the crimes is carried out locally and has limits of newlinenational boundaries. Enforcement agencies worldwide are facing a big challenge to contain this crime newlineand investigate it.
