dc.description.abstract | The textile dyes, especially azo dyes, are resistant to degradation. Conventional methods are generally not usedto remove textile effluents, due to their low biodegradability features. It is usually treated by physical or chemical treatment processes. These include physical or chemical flocculation, flocculation with fenton reagent, electro flotation, membrane-filtration, electro-kinetics coagulation, electrochemical destruction, ion-exchange, irradiation, precipitation and ozonation method. the conventional methods have not been very successful in handling these issues due to limited flexibility and efficiency. Rapid urbanisation and industrialization as resulted in reduced water resources due to which there is a need for proper treatment of municipal and industrial waste water newline | |
