Abstract: The rational design of novel drugs from traditional medicine offers new newlineprospects in modern healthcare. A new approach will find on scientific basis of newlinetraditional claims to Salvia splendens belonging to lamiaceae family, which have newlinebeen used in the treatment of many diseases and oxidative stress mediated disorders. newlinePhytochemical estimation confirmed the rich present of primary or secondary newlinemetabolites in all parts or all extract. Plant contains good quality of antioxidant newlineactivities that were carried out by DPPH, H2O2, and reducing power assay. Our plant newlineshow tremendous quantity of phenolic and flavanoid content. TLC, HPTLC and newlineHPLC were help to identify the quantitative estimation. The present study was newlineaimed to evaluate the epidermis (skin papilloma) anticancer potential of Salvia newlinesplendens and evaluated the induced parameters like tumour yield, tumour burden, newlinetumour incidence (%), average latent period (months), tumour diameter (mm), body newlineweight (gm), oxidative enzyme (LPO, SOD, GSH and Catalase), estimation of TNF- newlineand#1048878;and#1048591;and#1048579; and#1048648;and#1048662;and#1048663;and#1048652;and#1048656;and#1048644;and#1048663;and#1048652;and#1048658;and#1048657;and#1048579; and#1048658;and#1048649;and#1048579; and#1048663;and#1048658;and#1048663;and#1048644;and#1048655;and#1048579; and#1048659;and#1048661;and#1048658;and#1048663;and#1048648;and#1048652;and#1048657;and#1048591;and#1048579; and#1048651;and#1048652;and#1048662;and#1048663;and#1048658;and#1048655;and#1048658;and#1048650;and#1048668;and#1048579; and#1048658;and#1048649;and#1048579; and#1048663;umour. Mice (n=6) were treated with newlinemethanolic root extract for 16 weeks consecutive days in all groups excluded control newlinegroup. Result of present study reveals that, methanolic extract of root of Salvia newlinesplendens (S2), showed highest activity against anticancer parameters. newline
