Studies on deep cryotreated molybdenum based face milling cutters

Abstract

The cutting tool industry is striving towards making tools available to the industry which cost less and perform better. The development in technology has made available sophisticated machines which in controlled environments can produce components of such good finish and dimensional accuracy that subsequent operations like grinding itself can be eliminated. However, such machining is only possible by proper tools. Deviating newlinefrom the conventional, supported by survey findings, it was felt that cryogenically treated tools could be a solution for the industrial requirement. newline
