Abstract

Thesis deals with the characteristics of the shallow marine environment of the Eastern Arabian Sea. Objectives of this thesis are to decipher the inter-parametric relationships of shallow marine variables along shallow eastern Arabian Sea with the help of remote sensing and GIS. In-situ data were collected in different seasons to understand the behaviour of marine parameters in different environmental conditions. Spatial distribution of shallow marine variables depicts the heterogeneity in spatial distribution and the influence of changing seasons in the shallow marine environment. newline
