dc.description.abstract | Automatic Question Generation research topic is gaining attention with the trends of ever increasing demand for focused educational system. This study proposed a method for automatic question generation system from entered corpus and generates three different types of questions, i.e. Fill in the blanks, True or False statements, and Fill in the blanks with distractors. It supports English language only. newlineResearcher has developed a GUI based System called Automatic Question Generation System (AQGS) that generates objective questions. Java is use to design graphical user interface which facilitates corpus/paragraphs/text or upload .txt or .doc file and Mysql is use for storing the data in backend. newlineFor performance evaluation of the AQGS, researcher has collected data for sixty (60) different subjects to serve as different corpuses. All corpuses applied in system and generated results are recorded. Same experiment is carried out by three experts and results are recorded. System results are compared with experts result for different parameters like time, usefulness, no. of questions etc. The results show that AQGS is efficient approach in drawing objective questions. newline | |
