A study of aquatic insects of Jammu and Kashmir waters with their ecology and life cycles

Abstract

The present study by the author has enabled him to correctly identify the nymphs, larvae, pupae and in some cases, adults of insects occupying ecological niches newlinein the bill streams, lakes and ponds of Jammu and Kashmir, newlineThe author has also studied the Cyclomorphism of some of the insects and the physico-chemical characters of the Dal lake and Lidder stream, , in relation to the ecological conditions of insects of Jammu and Kashmir waters.
