Abstract: | The dyeing industry is one of the most important economic sector in Rajasthan and Wastewater newlinetreatment is one of the major problems faced by manufacturers in Sanganer ,jaipur (India).A detailed newlinestudy of the dyeing processes reveal that there are many complicated processes and chemicals used newlinethroughout the process. As a result the textile wastewaters are loaded with them along with other newlinechemicals used during printing and fixing of dyes on cloth (Sharma, 2000). The composition of textile newlinewastewaters usually alters even during a day due to the variety of colors and their fixing processes newlineemployed in textile printing industries in this area (Sharma et al., 1999). Such wastewaters may pose newlineproblems in the optimization of dye degradation in a biological system because textile wastewaters used newlineto assess its performance under different conditions may differ in their composition disqualifying newlinecomparison of results during long term studies .The Objective of this study is to select the optimized newlinewastewater management scheme under economic conditions for a selected dyeing mill in sanganer. In this newlinestudy examination of BOD, COD and color reduction by oxidation and coagulation. newline |
