Design and development of new, efficient and commercially viable synthetic methods for the preparation of active pharmaceutical newlineingredients is an integral part of the process chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, in order to develop a commercial route as early as possible in the lifecycle of a compound a meticulous newlinescientific approach is required. Given the current socioeconomic and environmental concerns, commercial synthetic approaches to the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) need to be safer, greener, simple, cost newlineeffective and less energy intensive. From a process development standpoint even small modification to the existing synthetic methods makes huge difference in commercial scale and these modifications directly reflect on cost of the end product. An in-depth optimization can offer huge profit in the manufacturing of drug substance. newlineen_US
