Abstract: newline The uncertainty analysis of results is an essential component in an experimental newlineprocedure. The uncertainty in the effectiveness and the heat transfer rate of the newlineheat exchangers was caused due to the mass flow and the temperature measurements. newlineAnemometers and temperature sensors were used to measure volumetric flow rate and newlinetemperature of the fluids respectively. The uncertainty in experiment was estimated to newlinebe 1.5 % for the effectiveness and 7.14W for the heat transfer rate approximately.
