Abstract

There are various industries present in India; some of them are textile, chemical, software, banking, food processing, agricultural, steel, machinery, pharmaceutical, etc. Each industry has its own importance in it. But among all the industry pharmaceutical industry of India has a great importance as this is one of the largest industries in the world. It ranks 4th in the world, pertaining to the volume of sales. This thesis is related to pharmaceutical industry in India. Also, as there are many foreign as well as Indian origin pharmaceuticals companies existed and having their business in India, researcher has taken pharmaceutical companies which are Indian in origin for his study.
