Abstract: | Learning in human life is rooted from individual and slowly influenced by newlineenvironment. Learning elevates in social environment by building increased newlinecapability and ability of learning in individuals. Due to the period of time newlinegenerational shift occurs and uses new approaches. The new generation students newlineuses technology on their daily basis work. Digital generation students play with newlinetechnology while interacting with media rich content. This leads to think for newlineaffordable technology infrastructure with multimedia rich capabilities, designed newlinefor delivering instruction anywhere and anytime. A better learning tools should newlinebe provided by higher education for off campus and on-campus learning to newlinesupport self-paced, independent and personalized environment for net newlinegeneration students. Generational shifts of learning paradigm needs to be newlineaddressed by colleges and universities for effective teaching learning process. newlineThe explosion of information technology can fulfil the new learning demands newlinein effective and efficient way. The students should be provided updated learning newlinematerial with rich information resources and collaborative environment. This newlinecontributes to engage student s in-depth learning and gaining new learning newlineexperience. To support broad new idea, the new technology mediated learning newlineenvironment maps the possible solutions to higher education. newlineCloud Computing technology provides cost effective solutions delivered as newlineservice through Internet. The Pay-per-use model of Cloud services is an newlineattractive feature where the payment is done only for the services utilized. The newlineadoption of Cloud services for educational operations enable higher education newlineauthorities to fulfill their infrastructure needs with less investment. Cloud newlineservices provides Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) newlineand Software as a Service (SaaS). In case of cloud computing, software newlinepurchasing, installation, and maintenance process is eliminated. The regular newlinesoftware updations are carried out by the Cloud service provide |
