Abstract: | Objectives: To develop simple, rapid ,precise ,accurate and economical UV derivative spectrophotometric, stability indicating HPTLC and RP-HPLC methods for estimation of Tenofovir, Emtricitabine, Efavirenz, Zanamivir, Atazanavir, Adefovir, Entecavir, Lopinavir, Oseltanavir, Abacavir, Ritonavir, Lamivudine, Zidovudine in fixed dosage forms and combined dosage form newlineMaterial and Methods: The present study describes stability indicating UV, RP-HPLC and HPTLC methods of various anti retroviral drugs in bulk and dosage forms. The proposed methods have the ability to separate the drug from their degradation products, related substances, excipients and were thus considered as good stability-indicating procedures. Stability studies are an integral part to understand the chemical nature of the drug. |
