dc.description.abstractAim: To formulate and optimized liquid self-micro emulsifying drug delivery system, followed by conversion of liquid SMEDDS in to Tablet dosage form, for Rosuvastatin calcium, Curcumin and Boswellia Serrata Extract is main aim of present work. newlineMaterial and Method: newlineCapmul-PG8, Acrysol EL135, Tween-80 and Propylene glycol have been utilized for development of liquid SMEDDS of Rosuvastatin calcium. While, Capmul-MCM, newlineAcconon-MC8, Acrysol EL135, and Propylene glycol have been utilized for Curcumin liquid SMEDDS. Similarly, Capmul-MCM, Acrysol EL 135, and Acconon MC8 have been utilized for Boswellia Serrata Extract liquid SMEDDS. Box-Behnken design and 33 Full Factorial desgin for optimization of liquid SMEDDS, and Simplexlattice design for optimization of SMEDDS Tablet is employed. Aeroperl-300 has been incorporated for solidification of liquid SMEDDS. Evaluations and comparison with marketed products, are accomplished for Rosuvastatin calcium, Curcumin and Boswellia Serrata Extract SMEDDS Tablet. Appropriate Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetic studies are utilized to compare bioavailability improvement. newlineResult: newlineLiquid SMEDDS with 127.5 nm (0.366), 246.7 nm (0.52) and 174.6 (0.43) z-average diameter for Rosuvastatin calcium, Curcumin and Boswellia Serrata Extract, respectively are developed. Result of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics studies stand with SMEDDS Tablet formulations rather than marketed formulations.
