Recombinant Interleukin-2 is gaining marked importance due to its potential application in immunomodulation of vaccinated livestock animals and thereby reducing mortality newlinerates during outbreak of infectious diseases. Various serological tests were conducted to assess the specific immune response newline(both humeral and cell mediated immune response) by knowing the antibody titers of serum samples collected from vaccinated newlinepoultry birds along with IL-2 therapy. newline ELISA titres (OD values) were significantly higher in group-A newlinechickens up to 1.453±0.007 which received both vaccination and Recombinant IL-2.In group-B (Vaccinated control) showed the OD newlinevalues up to 0.813±0.003 and least values were recorded in group-C (unvaccinated control). This clearly indicated enhanced humoral response in the birds receiving both vaccination and RecIL-2 inoculation. The results in the present study were highly newlineremarkable and significant that HI titres were increased up to 1:512 (group-A) in birds with RecIL-2 inoculation, where as titres newlinewere 1:256(group-B) in birds without RecIL-2 inoculation and SRID results indicated that the birds in group-A had higher antibody levels ((4 mg/ml) in comparison to the birds in group-B, viii where only vaccination without Rec IL-2 inoculation was given. newlineen_US
