Synthesis and Characterization of Some Novel Organotin Compounds

Abstract

The work described in the thesis deals with the reaction of unsymmetrical diorganotin dihydrides, triorganotin hydride, diorganotin dichlorides, diorganotin oxide with biguanide, biuret, guanylurea, guanidine, 3-chlorobenzenethiol, 1, 2-benzenedithiol and 1, 2-benzenedimethanethiol in various ratio. The results of reactions during the course of the present thesis are summarized under the following heads: 1. Biguanide complexes of Unsymmetrical Diorganotin dihydrides. 2. Guanidine complexes of Unsymmetrical Diorganotin dichlorides. 3. Biuret complexes of Unsymmetrical Diorganotin dihydrides. 4. Guanylurea complexes of Unsymmetrical Diorganotin dichlorides. 5. 3-Chlorobenzenethiol complexes of Unsymmetrical Diorganotin dichlorides. 6. 1, 2-Benzenedithiol and 1, 2-benzenedimethanthiol complexes of Unsymmetrical Diorganotin dichlorides. 7. Biguanide, biuret, guanylurea and iminothiobiuret Complexes of triphenyltin hydride. 8.
