Herbal medicines make up a significant constituent of the tendency towards alternative medicine. Therefore this research aims to study the safety and therapeutic effectiveness of Aegle marmelos and Cissus quadrangularis by different screening models. From the ethno medicinal information and folk claims it is observed that the plant Aegle marmelos and Cissus quadrangularis have medicinal properties related to anti-microbial, anti-cancer, anti-oxidant, and anti-inflammatory and anti-convulsant which have not been scientifically validated, and only some of the phytochemical studies have been carried out. Therefore, the present study was undertaken to evaluate of phytochemical and pharmacological aspects of the combine extract of the stem bark of Cissus quadrangularis and fruit pulp of Aegle marmelos. The various extracts of stem bark of Cissus quadrangularis and fruit pulp of Aegle marmelos were subjected to qualitative tests and identified the phytoconstituents present in them. All the extracts showed positive results for steroids, glycosides, flavonoids, phytosterols and lignins. All the extracts were subjected to thin layer chromatography by using different solvent systems. The extracts were subjected to qualitative chemical tests and steroids, saponins, terpenoids and carbohydrates were found to be present. TLC was run for the confirmation of steroids. The isolated compounds were subjected to spectral studies UV and FT-IR. The isolated compound was partly confirmed with those observations. Further, that the isolated compound was subjected for 1H NMR, MASS spectroscopy etc. Acute and Chronic Toxicity Studies were conducted on combined ethyl acetate extract of stem bark of Cissus quadrangularis and fruit pulp of Aegle marmelos (c-EACA) and combined ethanol extract of stem bark of Cissus quadrangularis and fruit pulp of Aegle marmelos (c-ECA). Acute oral toxicity vii studies revealed that c-EACA and c-ECA is non-toxic nature. There was no lethality or toxic reactions such as tremors, convulsions, salivation, diarrhen_US
