Abstract: | Environmental safety and the use of hazardous processes and the current issues faced by newlinethe world. Scientist community is always under pressure due to the use of these newlinehazardous chemical and the formation of toxic byproducts in almost all chemical newlineprocesses. Thus, the environmental safety and green processes are always in demand. newlineDue to this reason a large number of researchers are devoting their research for the newlinesynthesis of heterocyclic compounds under solvent free conditions in eco friendly newlinemanner in the laboratory with enhanced biological and pharmacological activity in pure newlineform. Green technology has been developed in all areas of chemistry including organic, newlinebiochemistry, medicinal chemistry, toxicological chemistry, environmental industrial newlineChemistry etc. newlineThere is a tremendous scope for the researches in the synthesis of heterocyclic newlinecompounds to follow the green technology. Microwave radiation is a non-conventional newlineenergy source whose popularity and synthetic utility in organic chemistry has increased newlineconsiderably in recent years. Characteristically, microwaves generate rapid intense heat newlinefor the synthesis of polar substances with consequent significant reductions in reaction newlinetimes and give cleaner reactions that are easier to work up than those from conventional newlineheating, and in many cases give higher yields without disturbing the environment. newlineThe benefit of this methodology is in support of media and/or in the absence of solvent newlineconstitutes an environmentally clean technique which avoids the generation of highly newlinecontaminating residues, like organic solvents and mineral acids, thereby allows attaining newlinehigh yields at reduced costs. newlineHeterocyclic compounds are important organic compounds which have shown newlinetremendous growth in recent years because of their wide applications in newlinepharmacological and biological field. The six member heterocyclic compounds with newlinearomatic character, exhibiting greater stability have undergone phenomenonial growth newlinebecause of their important biological activities such as antifeedant, a |
