Abstract: | Electronic commerce means to perform the trading activities through newlineinternet. Internet is the foundation for a new business order. It has changed newlinecustomer s expectations about convenience, speed, price and services. The people newlinewho make on-line business possible are the knowledgeable workers. Now such online newlinebusiness has become a challenge for HRM and the HR Managers makes several newlinestrategies to take procedure over control on-line business. Such HR Managers try newlinehire and develop human resources who have the ability to attract, motivate, retain, and newlineto serve as maximum customers as possible. newlineElectronic commerce (EC) is a popular topic in the mass media and in newlineinformatics circles as well. Perhaps its impact is most visible in the areas of financial newlineservices and retailing. Many EC initiatives have risen in a short period of time. newlineThose initiatives include innovative smart cards to facilitate EC, remote payments newlineand electronic checking, online trading of stocks, bonds and related financial newlineinstruments, online banking, and online retailing (e-tailing). We are now becoming newlinecomfortable with the Internet, and we are beginning to appreciate its ability to newlineprovide a wealth of diverse information from around the globe; literally millions of newlinesites are just a click away, opening up new opportunities for trade and information newlineexchange. Internet use is no longer a novelty; it is becoming as much a part of our newlinedaily lives as television and telephony. We have witnessed a true revolution with the newlinegrowth of the Internet and Internet use, but now we are experiencing a second newlineInternet revolution and it is called electronic commerce. The tools and techniques to newlineenable trading over the Internet are becoming mature, and EC is growing very newlinerapidly. newlineWith the development of computer technology, the World Wide Web has newlinebecome the connection medium for the networked world.
