Pharmacognostical Studies of Natural Products with reference to Ayurvedic Formulations Processing Techniques

Abstract

Nature has given medicinal value to every substance thus causing their minimal wastage. Ayurveda has identified the hidden potential of the waste materials and used those materials in various human ailments. newlineUnripe coconut husk, hen egg shell and banana peel are considered as waste materials, these materials were selected for the study. Ayurveda has used these materials in the form mashi, bhasma and ash respectively for various human ailments.
