Abstract: | The main theme of the thesis is: newline Analysis of Air Pollution Parameters Using Fractal and newlineWavelet Methods . newlineWe have formulated our problem as follows: newline To analyze and recognize the pattern of the air pollutant newlineparameters at different locations in Delhi using Statistical Analysis, newlineDiscrete and Continuous Wavelet, Power Spectrum, Hurst Exponents, newlineFractal Dimension, Predictability Indices and Energy distribution newlineAnalysis . newline newlineCentral Pollution Control Board (CPCB) provided the daily averaged values of air newlinepollution parameters Carbon Monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Oxide (NO), Nitrogen Dioxide newline(NO2), Ozone (O3) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), for different monitoring stations Delhi newlineCollege of Engineering (DCE), ITO-Crossing (ITO), Siri Fort (SF) and Mobile Van (MV) newlinein Delhi, India for last four year from August 2006 to July 2010. The total 1461 data for newlineeach parameter at each station have been used to analyze and recognize the pattern of air newlinepollutants at different monitoring station in Delhi. |
