Abstract: The main theme of the thesis is: newline Mathematical Modeling, Multifractal and Wavelet Analysis of Water Parameters . newlineThe problem discussed in thesis is as follows: newline To analyze and recognize the pattern of the water quality parameters at newlinedifferent sample sites of river Yamuna in India using Statistical, Time Series, Trend, newlineWavelet, Fractal, Predictability, Hurst Exponent, Artifical Neural Network Analysis, newlineFuzzy Interface System, Artifical Neural Fuzzy Infterface System (ANFIS) and newlineConjunction of Wavelet-ANFIS Model . newlineYamuna is the largest tributary river of the Ganga in India. It originates from the newlineYamunotri glacier at a height of 6387 meters on the south western slopes of Banderpooch newlinepeaks (380 59 N 780 27 E) in the lower Himalayas in Uttarakhand. Central Pollution newlineControl Board (CPCB) monitors the different water parameters at different sites of Yamuna newlineriver. For the present study, five sample sites of river Yamuna are chosen according to newlineutilization of river water, i.e. Hathnikund, Nizamuddin, Mazawali, Agra, and Juhikha. newlineHathnikund is approximately 157 km downstream from Yamunotri and 2 km upstream newlinefrom Tajewala barrage. Nizamuddin is approximately 14 km downstream from the newlineWazirabad barrage at Delhi. The distance from Hathnikund to Wazirabad is 224 km. The newlinewater quality at Hathnikund has the impact of industrial and sewerage discharge from newlineHaryana and Delhi. Mazawali is about 84 km downstream from Wazirabad barrage and newlinehave the impact of wastewater discharge from Shahdara drain and Hindon river. Agra D/S newlineat the west burzi of Tajmahal monument is about 310 km downstream from Wazirabad barrage and depicts the impact of sewerage water discharge from Agra city and industrial newlinewaste from Mathura refinery. Juhikha is about 613 km downstream from Wazirabad newlinebarrage and have the impact of the river confluence Yamuna and Chambal rivers....
