An Analysis to Identify Project Implementation Model for Distribution of Compressed Natural Gas along the National Highway

Abstract

The proposed analysis to Identify Setup for Project Execution Model newlineamong Government, Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Private for newlineDistribution of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) along the Delhi- newlineMumbai National Highway (NH8). newlineDelhi and Mumbai are the biggest metro cities in India. This national newlinehighway is important link of Golden Quadrilateral Highway newlineidentified by National Highway Authority. Also, NH8 is the most newlinedense tariff highway for the vehicular movement. Further, Delhi and newlineMumbai both the cities have independent companies operating CNG newlinenetwork. These are Indraprastha Gas Ltd and Mahanagar Gas Ltd for newlineDelhi and Mumbai city respectively. Currently there is no CNG newlinecorridor present except above mentioned to cities. Therefore, it newlinebecome appropriate to provide the CNG along NH8, and such project newlinehere termed as Natural Gas Highway. newlineConsidering the coverage of this research, a detailed review of newlineexisting literature has been conducted. It covers the academic newlineresearch done by previous researchers, research or investigation newlinedone in Oil and Gas industry by Government Agencies, Research newlineAnalysts, Investment Bankers and also Indian Corporate and newlineConsulting Firms with specific reference to the Oil and Gas industry. newline
