Factors to Promote Offshore Wind Energy Sector in India

Abstract

This thesis does an extensive literature survey of the offshore wind energy policies adopted by 4 countries (the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Denmark) with largest installation of offshore wind farms to understand the basic elements of policy formulation. newline21 variables emerged, which formed the core building blocks of offshore wind energy policies in Europe. These 21 variables were subjected to factor analysis to logically group these variables and were empirically tested. newline
