Abstract: Increasing lust for adventure and world culture and pure nature are generally newlineconsidered to be the factors supporting India. Since India is strategically located newlineand it has fabulous natural and cultural tourist resource wealth, it is now high time newlinethat the country prepares her to favorably tilt the tourist influx. For this it is newlineimportant to guide the tourist expectation levels with relation to destination in a newlinerealistic term so that their expectations are closer to ground realities as the newlineexpectation levels have vital bearing on the ultimate satisfaction levels. So far the newlinepractice has been to perceive tourist demand on the basis of perceived perceptions newlineand not on authentic research. If the areas of tourist dissatisfaction are realistically newlineexplored and well thought of actions are taken accordingly, the insignia downfall newlineof the destination because of the distorted image can be realistically translated into newlineits progressive prosperity. The present study is undertaken to explore the areas of newlinetourist dissatisfaction and to understand the factors affecting tourist satisfaction. newlineThe study seeks to analyse the difference between level of expectation and level newlineof satisfaction of Adventure Tourist with respect to the identified variables such newlineas Information, Aesthetic Appeal, Facilities, Safety and Security, newlineAccommodation and Food; difference between the actual level of satisfaction of newlineAdventure Tourist and perceived level of satisfaction of Adventure Tourist by newlineGovernment officials and Tour Operators respectively; difference between newlineperceived level of satisfaction of Adventure Tourist by Tour Operators and newlineGovernment officials; relationship between level of expectation and level of satisfaction of Adventure Tourist and effect of level of expectation on level of newlinesatisfaction for corresponding variables and overall satisfaction. newline newline...
