Analyzing the efficacy of the new media technologies in higher education

Abstract

Technology is one key aspect of the education in present globalization. Technology has brought an immense change in the field of the education system. Technology has expanded the boundaries of learning beyond the four walled classroom to the distant places of the world with its exclusive characteristics. New media technology has transformed the entire world into the digitized media and made it accessible. The main purpose of this research is to find out the efficacy of new media technologies in higher education through analyzing the student and teacher awareness and student performance. A predictive timeline was framed for the implementation of different new media technologies in Indian Higher Education System.
