Abstract: IEEE 802.11-2007 Standard for wireless network classifies security newlinealgorithms into: RSNA and Pre-RSNA. Pre-RSNA algorithms are the newlinealgorithms used before RSNA. Pre-RSNA security comprises the newlinealgorithms; WEP and IEEE 802.11 entity authentication. RSNA security newlinecomprises the algorithms like TKIP, CCMP, RSNA establishment and newlinetermination procedures including use of IEEE 802.1X authentication, key newlinemanagement procedures and providing mechanisms for protecting newlinemanagement frames. RSNA comes into the picture after, all Pre-RSNA newlineMethods fail to meet their security goals to provide privacy and newlineconfidentiality of user information being transferred over the wireless newlinemedium and authentication of IEEE 802.11 conformant devices and are newlinedeprecated except for Open System authentication. This evaluates why newlinepre-RSNA methods fail for providing security to wireless Networks and newlinewhat are the weaknesses and security issues of RSNA modes by way of newlinedeveloping real network testbeds. It simulates different network model in newlineNS2 in order to conclude a secure model of WLAN and providing the ways newlineto improve the performance of Network. This work is necessary to migrate newlineto RSNA and making more highly secure and reliable RSNA methods. So newlinesecurity features, capabilities and aptitudes associated with WLAN newlinethrough its framework for Robust Security Networks are evaluated, newlineexamined and elucidated in order to formulate it as guidance on the newlineplanning and deployment of RSNs. Degraded performance of WLAN newlinebecause of applying secure version is taken into consideration and newlinecountermeasures are provided. Network Simulators, Security and newlineScanning Tools are used, real network testbeds and Practical scenario are newlinedeveloped to overcome the problem. newline
