Abstract: | newline Reconfigurable computing is the art of computing which the close resemblance with the word has called as research, as research means searching again and again until and unless we could find something new, and in the same way reconfigurability means that we can configure the device again and again until and unless we are satisfied with our design. The correlation between these two words has given many researchers a new domain of research and implementation. newline newlineReconfigurable computing is playing an important role in digital hardware design as it combines the benefit of both ASIC and software implementations, Reconfigurable computing has shown us the path of acceleration in digital hardware implementation, before fabrication and moreover it has given us the ability to design our hardware in terms of the design variables like speed, power dissipation and area. newline newlineWe have used the word exploring in our problem statement and for this reason we had taken two aspects of Reconfigurable computing that is interfacing and implementation .However many work has already been done in this area, which has given us motivation and support in taking this domain to another cumulative level. newline newlineIn order to justify our commitment towards Reconfigurable computing, we had taken two different domains where it can be utilized. In our first approach we have worked on the interfacing of Reconfigurable architectures with other devices such as microcontrollers, so that if anyone wants to exploit the resources present in some other devices then they can make use of it. In our second approach we had taken an hardware implementation problem which would be fully converged to the application and use of Reconfigurable devices. newline newline newline |
