Safety in welding is a very important aspect. Welding is one of the newlinemost widely used metal fabrication methods in world wide. Welding is safe newlineoperation when carried out under normal and correct workshop conditions, newlinebut it must be pointed out that equipment free from defects and well arranged, newlineproperly ventilated , tidy workplace are important factors for safe working. newlineEven though, welding is carried out widely across the world, when certain newlinebasic measures and precautions are not followed, it results in injuries, newlinediscomfort, loss of eye sight after a longer period, or sometimes even leading newlineto death of the people work there. newlineThere are a large variety of welding and allied processes used in the newlinemodern industry. In general welding processes can be divided into the two newlinebasic categories, as fusion welding and solid-state welding. These processes newlinediffer in the manner with which heat, pressure or both are applied and the newlineequipments used for the process. Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), newlineSubmerged Arc Welding (SAW), and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) newlineaccount for 60-70% of welding activities in most of the industries. Its ease of newlineoperation, flexibility, and efficiency make welding a viable and attractive newlineprocess in modern industries. newlineW e lding is one of the major processes in High Pressure Boiler newlineManufacturing Industries also. Here, modern welding machines are used to newlineproduce more productive and high quality Boiler components. Various newlineprocesses of welding are adopted at High Pressure Boiler manufacture. newlineIn High Pressure Boiler Production, Tubular Production is the very newlineimportant process, since it involves welding of tubular products where and newlinesteam at very high pressure and temperature of about 570 atmosphere and newline600°C shall be circulating inside. The existing welding process of the Tubular newlineProduction and the environment in which the welders work in these machines newlineare studied to bring out improvement in their working conditions. newline newlineen_US
