Abstract: | OUTSOURCING HAS BECOME AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE INDUSTRY IN THE PRESENT ERA TO PROVIDE ECONOMIC BALANCE TO THE BUSINESSES. MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVE THEIR BUSINESSES OUTSOURCED FROM INDIA BECAUSE THE PLETHORA OF HUMAN RESOURCE IS AVAILABLE HERE. EARLIER, ONLY MEN WERE OPTING FOR BPO INDUSTRY FOR THEIR LIVELIHOOD, BUT TODAY A NUMBER OF WOMEN ARE WORKING IN THIS INDUSTRY. ALTHOUGH EVERYTHING IS NOT GREEN INSIDE THE INDIAN BPOS BUT EVEN THEN BPO S WORK CULTURE HAS BECOME AN ATTRACTION FOR THE INDIAN YOUTH. THERE ARE MANY STRESSES AMONG BPOS EMPLOYEES SUCH AS -WORKING ON METRICS, ELECTRONICALLY MONITORED WORK, CULTURAL SHIFTS, PROJECT DELIVERABLES, WORKING SHIFTS, WORK-LIFE BALANCE ETC. WHICH HAVE INCREASED STRESS AMONG EMPLOYEES. IN TODAY S CORPORATE WORK CULTURE, INITIATIVES ARE BEING TAKEN WHICH AIMED AT THE CAPITALIZATION OF FEMALE TALENT POOL. GLOBALIZATION OF THE ECONOMY HAS FORCED OUR CORPORATE WORKFORCE TO CONCERN MORE IN WINNING THE WAR FOR TALENT AND INDIA S EDUCATED PROFESSIONAL WOMEN ARE A SIGNIFICANT ASSET THAT SHOULD NO LONGER BE UNDERVALUED AND UNDER-UTILIZED. CORPORATE INTERESTS HAVE ALSO BEEN CHANGED ABOUT GENDER -DIVERSITY AND GENDER INCLUSIVITY |
