Abstract: Migration as an area of study can be approached in multidisciplinary ways in social sciences. To understand the issue of migration in Assam, the study have tried to approach it through history, social demography, geography and political science but keeping sociological viewpoint as the predominant one (Rao, 1986: 1). The location of the study is Guwahati and the study focuses on the stories of everyday experiences of citizenship of women migrants who are labelled as Bangladeshi . newline
