Abstract: An investigation into the design of intelligent maximum power newlinepoint tracking controller for a solar photovoltaic system at maximum power newlineoutput for varying levels of temperature and solar irradiation is presented The newlinePhotovoltaic system comprises a solar PV module DCDC boost converter newlineInverter and permanent magnet Brushless DC motor BLDC as a load The newlinethesis attentions on the BLDC motor is associated with a PV module through newlinea Maximum Power Point Tracking MPPT controller From various MPPT newlinemethods previously proposed perturb and observe PO technique is newlineestablished because of its ease implementation and low cost An improved newlineMPPT algorithm is explored which uses Genetic Algorithm assisted Neural newlineNetwork to better trajectory maximum peak power point The technique newlinenamed Genetic Assisted Radial Basis Function Neural Network GARBF newlineNN based MPPT is incorporated into the controller where the output newlinesignal governs the DCDC boost converters to accomplish the MPPT newline newline
