The subject of the research work discuss about the Development and Management of Engineering College Libraries in Western Vidarbha Region An Analytical Study . newlineChapter-1 Introductory part of this research work contains, Emergence and history of engineering colleges and role of their libraries. It includes the brief information about Role of Association /Organization, State and Central Government, UGC Library Committee (1957), Review Committee (1961), UNESCO in Engineering Education, definition of AICTE, NBA, Technical Education and their Institution. It`s Act, Norms, Notification, Purpose, Objectives, Major functions and their Responsibilities. AICTE Norms for new engineering colleges and their library Staff with new establishment. It also contains the Objectives of the Study, Hypothesis, Scope and limitation of the Study of engineering colleges, their Library services extent to satisfy the intensity and fulfill needs of the users and employees of engineering college libraries. newlineChapter-2 Present study also discussed the development of engineering college libraries and their academic Movement in India in the ancient and medieval period, princely Ruler s period, up to the 17th century.
