An evaluative study of transit from print to e print journals and their effect on library services in university libraries of western UP

Abstract

Universities in India and U.P. are moving into a global educational and work environment with increasing number of faculty and the students teaching and doing research throughout the world. With change in content of the subject, this study has been taken up and the following chapters have been established to complete the study and highlight the problems, discussions and recommend terms newlineChapter 1 is Introduction discussing concept, measuring, importance of journals (print and e-prints) moreover, thus chapter also discuss objective, scope, research methods and hypothesis of the study. Chapter 2 more than 35 reviews of available literature. Chapter 3 is print journal and E-print journal ways of publishing. Chapter 4 is Transit from print to E-print journals cost, collection, circulation, access and stock maintenance. Chapter 5 is Usage of electronic journals economic implication, consortia, resent studies technical and collection services. newlineChapter 6 is Result and discussion in which data analysis and interpretations 400 questionnaires displayed in the form of tables, charts and diagrams .findings, hypothesis proved and recommendations.
