Abstract: | Agricultural research is vital in addressing the challenges of food production in India. Information serves as one of the most effective tools ever developed. The Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS) approach represents an effective way to use and adopt existing knowledge. The farmers, researchers, extension officers, policymakers, private-sector companies, entrepreneurs, agro processors, nongovernmental agencies, and other intermediary organizations should be encouraged to demand relevant information enabling them to enhance their knowledge systems. The flow of knowledge among these beneficiaries is to bring about agricultural advancements and growth in production. The data collection is done by using a pre-tested interview schedule. The interview schedule is prepared in English in consultation with tapioca research centre scientist and the same is translated into Tamil for easy administration. The collected data are coded and tabulated for statistical analysis. The relevant conclusions and inferences are objectively drawn. newline newline newline |
