dc.description.abstractTo study the expression of PELP in different molecular subtypes of breast cancer especially triple negative cases in 194 modified radical mastectomy cases All the cases were classified according to the molecular classification based on the immunohistochemical expression of ER PR and Her 2 neu Thirty five percentage of patients were triple negative molecular subtype of breast cancer Twenty seven paired fresh tissue samples were collected after written consent from the patients with breast cancer PELP dysregulation was studied using IHC western blot and real time polymerase chain reaction The triple negative cases showed a definitive up regulation of PELP by all three methods newline
