dc.description.abstractThe diagnostic reasoning process in the medical domain is newlinesometimes challenged by an uncertain diagnosis, either due to improper and newlineinsufficient clinical data or lack of experienced clinicians Psychological newlinedisorders are diagnosed or assessed by observing symptoms or features newlinepresent in a human being. Based on qualitative features differential diagnosis newlineand grading of a disorder is more difficult than that of a disease Hence newlineresearches are progressing for artificial intelligence based assistances in newlinepredicting and assessing psychological disorders Childhood autism is one newlinesuch neuro psychiatric developmental disorder that impairs social newlinecommunication and behavioral functioning in a child Assessment tools newlinequantify the autistic features and calculate a total score for making a newlinediagnosis As the symptom onset around the age of two the advantages of newlineearly intervention and accurate diagnosis seems to alleviate associated newlineproblems and gives a long-term outcome. But even an experienced clinician newlinemay feel it difficult for an accurate early grading based on total score newline newline
