Abstract: Getting Lean is pragmatic and all about continuous development. In cut throat world of international business scenario where small and medium companies implementing ERP, improvement becomes a condition of survival, not something they do when they get time. In most business, the root causes today are the same ones that existed two weeks ago and are the same ones that existed two years ago. With cost pressures mounting, SMEs are facing strong growth headwinds. It is obvious that several important factors must be considered for successful ERP implementation, but most small scale industries and business organizations have no idea what factors should be considered most heavily. Therefore, the main goal of this research is to evaluate and prioritize the most critical problems (MCPs) during ERP implementation. In effect, SMEs can take care of these problems on war footing basis to realize its success stories with most critical success factors (MCSFs). This research formulated the conceptual ERP success model based on strong background theories and knowledge gained from several ERP practitioners, vendors and consultants. Before conducting the main survey, three self constructed survey instruments were designed and tested separately for them. It attempts to explore the most significant and latent issues related to measurement of modern ERP functioning of Delhi-NCR companies (with meager income and resources) by conducting a series of statistical analysis through SPSS 18.0. Afterwards, each emerged construct will be scrutinized to set effective policies for high performance business - Next-Gen ERP to the User s, Vendor s and Consultants upmost guidance.
