Abstract

the present research involved to solve the classification problem which was extremely newlinedifficult when the system needed to process many packets continuously in a second, and newlinematching them against rules database contains of many of rules. The delay was reduced with fast newlinepacket classification, which effectively classified network traffic, and consequently accelerated newlinethe analysis of network packets. Here, the researcher intended to examine and compare the newlineperformance of the existing solutions, finding techniques suitable for efficient classification and newlineaccelerating Linux firewall using proposed algorithm, which were not implemented so far in newlineLinux Kernel and Iptables.
