Abstract: Engineering is the profession in which knowledge of mathematical sciences and natural sciences gained by study, experience and practice is applied with a judgement to develop ways to economically utilize the material and forces of nature for the benefit of mankind. This study presents and identify the system of Engineering education and factors involved in this process. It also study the quality factors affecting the engineering education. Present work identified relative strengths and weaknesses of engineering institutions and provide suggestions to improve. Researcher developed model of mathematical expression based on the correlation between education process score and performance of the student at entry and exit in engineering degree programme. newline
