CHARACTERIZATION OF ULTRAFINE AND NANO PARTICLE EMISSIONS ON INDIAN DRIVING CYCLE FOR PASSENGER CARS OPERATING ON GASOLINE DIESEL AND ALTERNATE FUEL CNG

Abstract

The basic objective of this study is to focus on the characterization of ultrafine and nanoparticle emissions in terms of particle mass, number, size, newline2 newlinevolume and surface area particularly, on Indian driving cycle for the passenger cars operating on diesel, gasoline and CNG. Additionally, PM speciation by chemical analysis method was incorporated to measure the constituents like SOF, IOF, PAH and VOC. Also, statistical model for particle number based on the data for vehicles tested had been developed. newline
