Abstract:  Effects Of Selected Yogic Practices And The Problems During Menopausal Period Of Women Between 35 To 60 To Age Group. newlineShalini Rajkumar Barbade (2015) newlineIntroduction: newlineAt the age of 35 we find a woman into fully grown up stage. In this age, the second major change takes place that is the menstrual cycle becomes ire-regular and later on menstrual cycle stops completely. Hormones within a body play very important role in the health of a woman. Menopause is the time in a womenand#8223;s life when menstrual period permanently stop. It is also called as change of life. Menopause is the opposite of a menarche. newlineAim and Objective: newlineTo evaluate an effect of yoga training program with the help of teacher made questionnaire. Then by implementing training programs on the experimental groups. Prepared 18 weeks yoga training program (Asana, Pranayama and Shuddhi-kriya) to measure present level of menopause problems of 35 to 60 years old women. Lastly a teacher constructed questionnaire as a tool which would measure problems during menopause. newlineMethod: newlinePurposely sampling technique was used for a sample of 200 women subjects was selected (participants) as subjects for the present study. Subjects were included in a single group randomly i.e., 200 in experimental group. All the menopausal women age group was 35 to 60 years of Bharti Vidyapeeth Campus, Ambegaon (Bk.) Pune. was the population of study (N=200) to achieve the purpose of study. After collection of data with half of questionnaire, data was analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (S.P.S.S) Version 17.0. Analysis of data was done using Chi-Square and PISSand#8223; statistical technique. newlineResult: newlineResearcher put forward remarks of a training program of Asana and Pranayama to reduce the problems of menopause of suffering women. The significance value was observed was 0.001.
