Abstract

Entrepreneurship may be regarded as a powerful tool for economic development of newlinecountry. Entrepreneurs play a key role in the economic development of country. Since newlineindependence small scale Entrepreneurship development programs have contributed to the newlineeconomic growth of nation .Today, it is the need of the hour to create new generation of newlineEntrepreneurs especially among the students. Entrepreneurship is neither science nor an art. It is newlinea practice. Entrepreneurship itself is recently being recognized as a full-fledged profession. newlineFor administrative purposes, the Maharashtra state is divided into six divisions i.e. newlineKonkan, Pune, Nashik, Nagapur, Aurangabad and Amarawati. Aurangabad division is called newlineMarathwada region. For administrative purpose this region is again divided into eight districts. newlineHeadquarter of the region is Aurangabad. The eight districts of region are Aurangabad, Jalana, newlineBeed, Osmanabad, Latur, Nanded, Parbhani and Hingoli. Among all these districts, the newlineOsmanabad district is most industrially backward district. Today, Entrepreneurship development newlineof this district is the need of hour and is the alternate source for employment opportunities and newlinewide spread industrial development in the district. newlineAn attempt has been made to review the studies on Entrepreneurship.
