The eloquent phenomenon of magnetism can be explored in nano scale to obtain advanced technologies Iron oxide has served mankind from the beginning of evolution in various forms The nano properties of iron oxide can do miracles in the field of imaging medicine drug delivery toxin removal and magnetic data storage Hence the present work mainly focuses on synthesizing and characterizing ferrite nano powders that can be used in applications which are useful to mankind.Manganese ferrite MnFe2O4 has spinel structure and high versatility owing to high saturation magnetization values and very less power loss for high frequency applications. The electrical and magnetic properties are highly sensitive to the method of preparation and heat treatment at different temperatures. The magnetic nature of MnFe2O4 can be varied improved and tuned to suit various applications by doping it with various transition elements like cobalt nickel copper and zinc newline
