Abstract: Natural herbal Plants are the major sources for various therapeutic newlineagents in the treatment of a wide variety of diseases. The potency of herbal newlinedrugs against diseases is mainly due to the presence of different chemical newlineconstituents within them. Plants with flavanoids and related compounds newline(polyphenols) belong to the recently popular Phytochemicals. Plants with these newlinecompounds possess various therapeutic properties, which includes antiviral, newlineantiallergic, antiplatelet, antiestrogen, anticarcinogenic, antiproliferative, antioxidant newlineand analgesic properties etc. newlineIn the present work, three different plants such as Commelina clavata newlinebelongs to the family Commelineaceae, Kigelia africana and Spathodea newlinecampanulata belongs to the family Bigenoceae of plant kingdom were under newlinetaken to test. Hence, the present research was undertaken on this extract. In newlinethis study, the potency of methanolic extract of whole plant of Commelina newlineclavata and flower of Kigelia africana and Spathodea campanulata were tested newlineagainst various disease parameters in experiments. newlineThe preliminary Phytochemical screening of Commelina clavata newlinemethanolic extracts alkaloids, proteins and carbohydrates, Steroids flavanoids newlineand Terpenoids are present. Kigelia africana methanolic extract have shown newlinethat, the extract are rich in flavonoids, alkaloids, carbohydrates, glycosides, newlinesteroids, fats and Fixed oils. The Spathodea campanulata methanolic extract newlinealkaloids, proteins and carbohydrates, Steroids and flavanoids. newlineThe pharmacological studies of CCM, KAM and SCM crude extracts newlinehave revealed that these plants are potential therapeutic agents against various newlinedisease parameters such as anti oxidant and Hepatoprotective activities newline
