Abstract: | Two civilizations of Iran and India with a rich culture and an old civilization along the history have had a friendly relation with each other. The people of these two civilizations of Iran and India have a common root in race and culture. These two countries have had equal relations from old times. India and Iran from older centuries have established a stable and cultural relations in this context Jawahar Lal Nehru the late prime minister of India said that: in the history of the world, the two nations of India and Iran have been so close to each other that it is impossible to find such affinity like these two old civilizations in any other parts of the globe. Following the political and social upheavals and appearing basic changes on the common borders of Iran and India, the relations of the two nations have decreased. However, at the threshold of the third millennium the political and cultural studies in the global field between the two countries have faced a high significance and we will see an extensive relations between the two as older civilizations. The political relation of India and Iran at the beginning of the new millennium have been under the influence of different factors. The factors that in some fields have extended the mutual relations after the two important manifestoes of Tehran and New Delhi. The most important goals of political relations between Iran and India can be categorized in economical, cultural, security, energy and political fields. |
