dc.description.abstract | This research study confirms the original proposition that experiencing newlineERP aids in students learning of business processes. By validating this newlineproposition, the modified Kolbian experiential learning theory is also newlinevalidated. The emphasis by organizations on business processes is compelling. newlineStudents from either the undergraduate level or the postgraduate level need to newlineunderstand and make decisions based on business processes. ERP systems newlinehave been used for over 10 years to teach this important topic. Universities newlineshould continue to do so, confident in the result that learning with a live ERP newlinesystem indeed facilitates business process learning. Continuing through the newlineAct phase to the Reflect phase in the augmented modified ELT, for both newlineuniversities, it was evident from the in-depth interviews that overwhelming newlinemajority of students relied on their classes to help them make business newlinedecisions. This is a gratifying result and one that should be emphasized to newlineflaunt educational success. newline | - |
