Abstract: | The study of heterocyclic chemistry is an ever green field in the branch of organic newlinechemistry. Heterocycles displayed a wide variety of biological properties, many of which can newlinebe exploited for medicinal purpose and are essential for the human life. Almost all the newlinemajorly known compounds such as drugs, vitamins and several natural products possess newlineheterocycles as active site. Many natural and synthetic bioactive compounds containing newlineoxygen, sulfur and nitrogen as a part of their structural and functional unit. Hence, the newlinesynthesis of Oxa, Thia and Aza heterocycles continues to attract much interest in organic newlinechemistry. newlineIt was found that in literature, oxygen, sulphur and nitrogen containing heterocycles like newlinetetrahydroquinoline-3-carbonitrile, bipyrazol-yl-thiazol-one, bipyrazol-thiazol-ylidenehydrazinecarbothioamide, newlinechromen-2-yl-benzylidene-isonicotinohydrazide, tetrazol-5-ylthio- newlineethylidene- hydrazinecarbothioamide, 1H-tetrazol-5-yl-sulfonyl-ethanones, pyrazolo newline[3,4-d]pyrimidin-3-amine and many more have been received considerable attention in recent newlineyears due to their wide range of biological applications such as anesthetic, anticonvulsant, newlineCNS stimulant, antidiabetic, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antimalerial, antitumor, newlineantitubercular, anti-inflammatory and analgesic. newlineThese expansive significances of heterocyclic compounds encouraged us to work in the area newlineof synthesis of heterocycles with pharmaceutical interest. In this proposed work different newlineheterocycles were prepared by using green methodology. All the synthesized compounds newlinewere evaluated for their biological activities. newline |
